Our Terms of Service

These Terms and Conditions apply to all cleaning services provided by A Well Kept Nest. By booking our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Service Agreement

Our cleaning services will be delivered according to the agreed schedule and scope of work. Access to the property must be provided at the scheduled time. Running water and electricity must be available on-site for our staff to perform cleaning tasks.

2. Payment Terms

All invoices must be paid in full within 7 days of the invoice date. Accepted payment methods are cash or bank transfer only. A late payment fee of 10% may be applied to overdue invoices not paid within 7 days. Additional charges may apply for extra services requested outside the original scope of work.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service time. If a cancellation occurs within 24 hours, 50% of the total invoice amount will be charged as a cancellation fee. If we are unable to access the property at the scheduled time due to the client's action or inaction, it will be treated as a late cancellation. Services may be rescheduled without penalty if requested more than 24 hours in advance. Weather-related cancellations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 48 hours of the completed cleaning. We are committed to addressing and resolving concerns promptly and to your satisfaction. Notifications received after 48 hours may not be eligible for corrective action.

5. Photography and Marketing Materials

By scheduling our cleaning services, you acknowledge that photos of your home's interior and exterior may be taken during or after service completion for quality assurance, documentation, and potential use in our marketing materials, including but not limited to our website, social media accounts, brochures, and advertisements. All photos will be used respectfully and professionally to showcase our cleaning results. If you prefer that photos of your home not be used for marketing purposes, please inform us in writing before your scheduled service date.

6. Health & Safety

Our team follows all applicable health and safety protocols while on your premises. Please ensure the area to be cleaned is safe and free of hazards or obstructions. Please notify us in advance of any pets on the property and ensure they are secured during the cleaning service.

7. Liability

A Well Kept Nest holds public liability insurance to cover any accidental damage or injury directly caused by our services. We are not liable for pre-existing damage or items that were not secured prior to our service. In the event of accidental breakage or damage, clients will be notified immediately and appropriate remedial action will be taken.

8. Access Requirements

Clients must ensure that running water and electricity are available during the cleaning service. If utilities are not available and we are unable to perform the service, the cancellation policy may apply. Any keys or access codes provided will be handled with strict confidentiality and returned immediately after service completion.

9. Service Scope

Standard cleaning services are as outlined in our service description. Additional services outside the standard scope may incur extra charges and must be agreed upon in advance. We do not clean items of significant value, hazardous materials, or areas deemed unsafe by our staff.

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

Our staff will respect client privacy and confidentiality at all times. Any personal information observed during cleaning services will not be disclosed to third parties.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be addressed through direct communication between the client and A Well Kept Nest. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be referred to appropriate mediation services.

12. Force Majeure

A Well Kept Nest will not be liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other extraordinary events.

13. Changes to Terms

A Well Kept Nest reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes via email or written notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
